Cessna SID 55-11-02

            FAA recommend that owners, operators, and maintenance technicians and inspectors visually inspect and confirm their findings using eddy current on the affected Cessna models utilizing aft fin attachment fitting, part numbers 0431009-1/-2/-3, for cracks and corrosion. This should be done repetitively at  100 hours  intervals following inspection procedures described in the applicable Cessna SID located in the table of SIDs. Note that it may be beneficial for the inspection to be accomplished in conjunction with compliance to AD 80-11-04.          FAA and Textron Aviation (Cessna) have been aware of cracking of the aft fin attachment fitting; and have previously issued a number of airworthiness publications to inform owner, operators, and maintenance technicians and inspectors. Mode ‘C’ and Mode ‘S’ transponders, all types and models utilising Gilham code altitude input.                       During the 1990’s, the FAA received reports of eleven incidents involving certain transport category airplanes equipped with Mode "C" transponder(s) with single Gilham code altitude input. These reports indicated that, during level flight, the TCAS II issued false advisories that directed the flight crew to either climb or descend. Further investigation showed that these events were caused by incorrect Gilham coded altitude input. The instances reported in the USA all involved communication between aeroplanes with the TCAS II and aeroplanes having the Mode "C" transponder(s). FAA AD 2012-24-09 HET Turbochargers FAA AD

          The FAA has issued  AD2012-24-09 on HET model TAO411 turbo chargers overhauled or repaired since August 29, 2012, using a turbine wheel, P/N 410188- 0019, serial number H120716 through H121988.       Affected turbochargers are to be replaced before further flight.           The AD does provide for special flight permits provided that the flight is limited to three hours, the turbocharger boost is set to “Off” in the cockpit if applicable and the wastegate for the turbocharger is safety wired in the open position.                 This AD affects the Cessna Model T182T. Cessna has determined that no aircraft have been factory delivered and that no spares engines or spares turbochargers have been sold by Cessna Service Parts and Programs that are affected. FAA AD 2013-02-13 Inspections of Older Piper Aircraft

                 FAA requiring inspections on tens of thousands of older model Piper airplanes to check cables that control tail surfaces.                             FAA is posted a directive FAA AD 2013-02-13   prompted by reports of failures in the cable assembly which direct a plane's nose. The rule requires inspections and parts replacement as needed, to correct what the FAA calls an "unsafe condition." The requirement applies to certain Piper aircraft that are more than 15 years old. Subject - Oxygen – Flight Crew Oxygen Mask Regulator – Identification / Operational Procedure / Replacement Applicability - Flight crew oxygen mask regulators, having Part Number (P/N) MC10, MF10 and MF20 series, with serial numbers (s/n) as listed in Appendix 1 of this AD. The affected flight crew oxygen masks regulators are known to be installed on, but not limited to, aeroplanes manufactured by Airbus, ATR, Boeing, Bombardier (formerly Canadair, De Havilland Canada), Cessna, Gulfstream and McDonnell Douglas. Reason In a repair station, improper maintenance on oxygen mask regulators was reported to Intertechnique: during an inspection of the oxygen test bench by its manufacturer, incorrect settings were noticed.
