Authorities say four people have died in the crash of a small plane that went missing after departing from a regional airport near Roanoke.

Lynn Lunsford of the Federal Aviation Administration says the identities of the victims in Saturday's crash have not been made public. She says the Beechcraft Bonanza took off Saturday morning 6 October 2012 from the Northwest Regional Airport near Roanoke and disappeared about 25 miles southeast of Terrell.
